Tokat solar energy plant, has a total installed capacity of 4,780 kWp at Turhal district. Tokat SPP, which is planned to start electricity production in 2017, is constructed on 80.000 m2 area. Approximately 40.000 solar modules is used in the installation of the plant which is expected to produce 6.635.750 kWh of electricity annually. Tokat SPP will save 11.760 trees and will prevent the emission of 4,750 tons of CO2 annually.
